Sky Knowledge – Caring for Country from Above

Join Traditional Owner Kai in this interactive, online workshop as he shares how First Nations peoples have used the night sky for over 65,000 years to forecast weather and track seasonal changes.

Students will learn how First Nations peoples read the moon and stars to guide life on Country, spot constellations like Tchingal, the Emu, and hear Dreamtime stories that connect land, sky and culture.

This workshop is for high-abilities students in Grade 3 and 4. You can see our workshop dates, times and booking forms below. The workshop is 90 minutes long.
