Seasonal Indicators in Your Backyard

From looking up at the night sky to noticing bird nests in gum trees or when native flowers begin to bloom, seasonal indicators are all around us!

Traditional Owner Kai will share his knowledge of Connection to Country, teaching students how to read nature’s signals and understand what they tell us about the changing seasons.  Students will observe their local birds, plants and natural surroundings to learn how First Nations peoples read natural signs. This hands-on session encourages respect for Country and a stronger connection to the natural world.

• Traditional Ownert led session (1 hour, max. 25 students)
