Sky Knowledge: Indigenous Astronomy

Join Traditional Owner Kai as he shares how First Nations peoples have used the night sky for over 65,000 years to forecast weather, track seasonal changes and care for Country.

Through star lore and deep cultural knowledge, students will learn to “look up at the stars” and identify constellations such as Tchingal, the Emu, alongside other native animals.

  • First Nations representative led session (1 hour, max. 25 students)
