How Does it Work?

Once you join Habitat Warriors, one of our botanists will visit your revegetation site to conduct a native plant and weed survey. You will have access to a site-specific native plant list for your site, showing you which plants to use and where to plant them. We can also provide you with a map to show which plants need to go where.

We will let you know which plants you should collect seed and cuttings from so that students can grow their own plants. We can even help you order additional plants from a specialist local native nursery if you need them.

A child in a green shirt holds a small plant with soil in their hands, wondering, "How Does it Work?" An orange circle appears in the top left corner of the image.

You will get access to all our planting resources and activities, from how to grow you own plants to how to monitor your revegetation area. You can then choose to run your own revegetation program using our simple, easy-to-understand online resources, or one of our expert ecologists can visit your school or kindergarten to run the program. Need help running a planting day? Easy. Our revegetation program runs for 6-12 months (depending on the time of year that you start), with learning sessions taking 1-2 hours.

Traditional Owner will visit also your school or kindergarten to help children understand and experience Aboriginal culture with a fun, interactive, hands-on learning session.

Our program is flexible and can be tailored to suit your school’s needs. Check out our Sprout, Seed and Bloom packages for more details.
