Code of Conduct
This Code of Conduct explains how everyone at Habitat Warriors is expected to behave when working with or around children.
It helps us create safe, positive, and respectful learning environments.
We expect all team members to:

Put children’s safety and wellbeing first

Treat children with respect, fairness and inclusion

Maintain clear and professional boundaries

Use appropriate language and behaviour

Follow all child safety policies and reporting requirements

Hold a valid Working with Children Check
- Report any concerns or breaches immediately
Team members must not:

Engage in any form of child abuse, exploitation or grooming

Use inappropriate, discriminatory or sexualised language

Develop personal relationships with children outside program delivery

Communicate privately with children via personal devices or social media
- Photograph or record children without proper approval

Ignore or fail to report concerns about child safety
If something doesn’t feel right
We act quickly. Any concerns, disclosures, or breaches are reported immediately to the appropriate authority, and we take steps to protect the child and review our practices.
